Makeup is incredibly expensive. You could practically buy a new pair of designer shoes for the cost of a single tube of lipstick and coordinating bottle of nail polish. With makeup coupons, you can still look like a million bucks without breaking the bank.
Many makeup manufacturers use their website to connect with their customers and share special discounts. Loreal Paris has lots of coupons, rebates and other goodies available for download from their website. Join their rewards club to earn a coupon for a free hair color product for every five qualifying products that you buy. Find even more discounts on their Facebook page or by signing up for free mobile alerts when new makeup discounts are posted.
Covergirl does not currently post coupons on their website, but they do have some interesting tools that can help you track down makeup discounts. The Coupon Alert section will tell you when to expect CoverGirl makeup coupons in the Sunday newspaper. You can also join their text club by texting “breezy” to 24475. CoverGirl text club members receive exclusive makeup tips, freebies and discounts.
Many of the other major makeup manufacturers use Facebook and Twitter to announce new product lines and offer their fans the chance to try them for free or at a discount. Sometimes they ask fans to share their best makeup tips or name their favorite shade in exchange for contest entries to win freebies. If you are not subscribed, you never see the announcement.

Most makeup discounts only save you $1 to $2 on a single product. With discounts this small, you may wonder where the savings went when they take their makeup to the register. However, with a few tricks you can make these seemingly small discounts pay off in a big way.
The money saving feats of the Krazy Coupon Lady have been well documented on TLC’s Extreme Couponing series. Now she shares her best couponing tricks with shoppers on her own blog. She frequently sniffs out coupons for makeup along with instructions for how to use them. In one blog post she shows shoppers how to score Rimmel nail polish for $0.19 per bottle.
In another blog she showed shoppers how to get Almay iColor eyeshadow, liner and mascara for only $0.99 each. The Krazy Coupon Lady keeps a mailing list to make finding the discounts even easier. She does the hard part and you just have to follow along with her to save. She even wrote a book, entitled Pick Another Checkout Lane Honey, that shows complete beginners the ins and outs of couponing like a pro.
The savings do not stop at makeup coupons. You can save on almost every beauty product under the sun if you know where to look for coupons and how to use them. The rich scents of designer fragrances can be yours for imposter prices. You can pamper yourself with salon-brand shampoos and conditioners for as little as the store-brand products.
You can get deep discounts on expensive skin care products by Neutrogena and ProActiv. Some beauty products you can even get for free if you know how to combine coupons with sales and rewards programs from major chain retailers.
